Are the products you use safe for children?

We take great care in finding and using products that are safe for children.

The face paints we use are high quality professional brands: Paradise by Mehron and Wolfe FX. They are antibacterial dry cakes that activate when adding water. We use water-based paints because they are washable and are safe to use on children.

All of our glitter products are made in Canada, meaning that they are safe and have been standardized by strict regulations; this is especially important with the metal used in the glitter. Our supplier has confirmed that their products are 100% safe.

Qualatex Balloons is the brand professionals choose over any other brand. The stand for quality we value and are good for the environment because they are biodegradable too!

All of our other products are chosen with the utmost care for the safety of the children. If you need more information, just let us know.

Have any of your clients had a skin reaction to any of the products you use?

In our 10+ years, we have had only a few skin outbreaks. The main reasons for this are:

1. The child had a sensitivity or allergy to pigments or some other ingredient in our paints. Most children know they have a problem with products and once they tell us we’ll do a test on the arm first before painting the face.
2. The child might have a sunscreen or creme already on the face which may not mix well with another product.

When and how do I pay?

You can pay a few different ways depending on your preference.

Private parties must pay at least one day before the event.
We accept:

-Credit Card (accepted on invoice) or E-transfer sent prior to your event
-Cheques payable to Happy Faces Inc.– mailed prior to your event

NOTE: Our artists cannot accept payments on the day of the party and we prefer that they do not handle the payments so they can stay focused on what they do best.

Corporate Events or Parties:
We accept all payment methods listed above and we appreciate 30 day terms.

What kind of face paints do you use?

All of our face painting artists use professional quality, antibacterial, water-soluble cake makeup, brushes and glitter!

Face Painting Toronto

We only use the best quality products. Our main face paint brand is Mehron-Paradise Paints. They take great care in formulating a paint that both artists and clients love.

Paradise is a Glycerine based paint. Glycerine based paints are typically creamier and excellent for blending with a sponge. In our 5 years of using it, we have NEVER had a complaint. Paradise is all natural; it’s palm oil free, FDA approved, hypoallergenic, antibacterial and it smells like a tropical paradise!

We use Wolfe FX black and white cake makeup for a sharp lines and accents. This is a well known and respected brand from Europe that has been around for a long time. These paints are FDA approved, hypo-allergic and anti-bacterial.

Do you have experience with small children?

Yes!

No need to worry about your little ones! Happy Faces Artists have many years of experience with children of all ages.

Some little ones may be nervous with strangers, so we usually paint their arm or hand rather than their face. This always delights the child because they can watch the magic happen and see the beautiful end result!

2 years and under it is not recommended.
